How to Keep Your Books Happy
1. Carry your books securely under your arm so they do not drop on the floor.
2. If you take your books home to read, carry them in a backpack or in a large plastic bag.
3. Keep our books out of puddles. Remember: Don't give your books a bath!
4. Keep your books away from younger children who might scribble in or tear pages. Library books do not make good baby toys!
5. Turn the pages carefullly from the top right corner. Do not grab the page in the middle to flip it...because tiny rips will happen.
6. Make sure your hands are clean when reading library books and keep your books away from food and drinks. Remember: Dont't feed your books!
7. Keep your books away from pets. Remember: Books are not good pet food either!
8. Choose a place to keep your library books and return them to that spot after reading.
9. Enjoy reading your books or have someone read them to you.
10. Return your books on time so that others may enjoy them.
