Dawes Middle School Media Center

Welcome to Our Media Center

The mission of the Dawes Middle School Library Media Program is to provide information services that support the learning and teaching of all members of the school community.

This will include the following:

• Promote the enjoyment of literature and reading
• Provide access to learning resources in a variety of formats
• Teach skills necessary to locate, evaluate and use resources
• Collaborate with other teachers and media specialists to design strategies that support the curriculum and provide for life-long learning
• Maintain a physical environment for the achievement of these goals.
