Mission Statement
The mission of the Lefler Middle School Media Center is to teach students to be effective and ethical users of information and information gathering technology. In addition we are encouraging and preparing students to be life long learners. This mission is accomplished by:
providing instruction in information technology
providing access to informational materials in a variety of formats.
stimulating interest in reading and in finding and using information and ideas.
promoting media center use by students and staff.
working with teachers to develop educational strategies to meet the information needs of students.
supporting the districts curriculum initiatives.
