Happy National Poetry Month--April 30 Poetry Jam
Come see our Poe"tree" display in the library. You will find all different kinds of poetry. This month you will have an opportunity to perform a poem at our annual Poetry Jam on April 30. You are invited to find a great published poem to give an interpretive performance or read your own work of poetry. All performers must submit a copy of the poem they have selected prior to the Jam. See Mrs. Schumacher in the media center for more details.

New Book Display The newest books in the Media Center will be found in our New Book Display area. Browse through these to find the latest by your favorite authors, something different or books hot off the presses! When you search the card catalog, you will find these books identified as located in "New Books Display". |

These are placed on books that are written in Spanish but are on our regular collections such as non-fiction, fiction, or biography. |

M is for Memoir. These are placed on books in our non-fiction or biography collection that are written in the narrative style of a fiction book but about a true topic. Usually an entertaining read. |

These are placed on the high interest books that are purchased during the current school year. They are part of the New Book Collection and are shelved in the front by the Circulation Desk, where you check in and out. |
